Kristen Hardin, LPC
Hi, I’m Kristen
I work with women who want relationships that feel healthy and safe, not confusing, draining, or familiar in all the wrong ways. Many of my clients know they want something different but aren’t sure where to start or how to change long‑standing patterns.
My role is to help make sense of those patterns and support real, sustainable change. One of the most meaningful parts of my work is watching clients look back and recognize the clarity, confidence, and strength they’ve built over time.
I’ve been practicing as a licensed professional counselor for over 15 years and have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. While I’ve supported clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, my primary focus is helping women strengthen self‑worth, heal attachment wounds, and recover from the impact of difficult or unhealthy relationships so they can move toward greater peace and well‑being.
Outside of therapy, I’m a working parent of two boys and understand how full life can feel. For a long time, “hobbies” felt like a foreign concept. Over the last few years, I’ve rediscovered curiosity and creativity through DIY projects, reading memoirs, thrift shopping, and finding a Taylor Swift lyric for just about any situation.
I’m no longer the same person I was before doing this work, personally or professionally. I feel more grounded, I trust my decisions, and I’ve made peace with imperfection. Life still gets messy at times, and that’s okay. The goal isn’t to stop being human. It’s learning how to feel more confident and more control and peace within it.
What it’s like to work with me
You are the expert in your life. My approach is collaborative, not directive. Therapy with me isn’t about being told what to do. It’s about understanding yourself more clearly and building on the strengths you already have.
There’s no one‑size‑fits‑all approach here. I provide thoughtful, individualized care based on your experiences, goals, and needs. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, grounded, and relatable. I’m a professional and I’m human. I don’t believe those things are mutually exclusive.
We’ll work together to clarify your goals and move toward greater well‑being with practical guidance, honest reflection, and support along the way.
I can’t wait to get started- Kristen
